Has anyone used this service?  I don't think I would but it never hurts to check around and see if they actually do what they say.

I hadn't take the time to look it over until now but it seem interesting. They say they don't manufacture review but instead ask their members to read a book and provide review directly to Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Goodreads and various blogs. They pay their members a token $5 dollars if they do. They say they ask them to provide unbiased honest reviews, which could be a two edged sword.

They also offer opinions prior to publication. From the description it's similar to a review just a little more detailed. I don't get the impression they do any editing just a heads up to the areas that need improvement in general.

I can see how the service might be useful for some people and publishers. I can also see how a fast reader could earn a few bucks doing reviews.

Getting paid to read books instead of the reverse?  Sounds interesting.  Too bad I'm already a writer.  Hahahahaha-

Well, I doubt you could make much of a living at $5 a book read.

Does anyone think it would really help that much?

It could help to kick-start a new book from an unknown author but the quality of the book will still be the determining factor in the end. The service will just get some people to read it and give their opinion on the sites, good or bad.
