My Paw, Steve Sr.
Looks like a fine fellow. I suspect he had a good work ethic. My dad died in 1973, a few days before my first child was born. His death was not a surprise, he'd been in the hospital for several days before he passed do to a heart attack. One of many he'd had over the years. He died at age 67, in the hospital of pneumonia. My main regrets about his passing are that he did not get to see my girls and that he died early in the morning, alone.

The thing I find rather astonishing is realizing just how old my daughters are now. I still think of them as my little girls even though one has a grandchild of her own. Time is an elusive and unforgiving bitch. Barely noticed it passes with ease, while the demands and distractions of life have our attention.

It took forever and a day but the rough draft clocks in at 144k - Admiral's Throne.

I can't wait to get this thing edited and out the door.  Jeez!
Keep it up.

I'm still working at it though I'm struggling. Just rewrote about three paragraphs.

Being noteworthy simply means, people want some of your time as well as you feeling obligated to do more. It can make you feel old and tired really fast. Just pace yourself, you can't do everything and you certainly can't do it all at the same time.

I hear you.  I donít feel noteworthy.  I feel old and broken down.  Iíve been working to help finish a college textbook project, and Iím in the process of updating my 2014 Relative Risk study.

Sorry to hear about your Dad. It can be hard when a parent dies. I know it was for me when each of mine died, even when you know it is coming.

Well, you're as busy as I thought you might be. That is what happens when you become noteworthy, and a lot people want use of your time. Just remember to make the effort to take a deep breath and relax with the family once in a while. It's easy to get so deep into a career that you forget to listen to those closest to you. The point of a career is to afford to enjoy life. Too many people fail to realize that and make their career the goal itself, or the means to one's own self-importance.

Your internet marketing campaigns should be extended and updated so that you can constantly keep reaching your potential customers without any delay. I am also very concerned about my new business and that's why you would like to hire only the expert Search Engine Optimization and Google Adwords Management service.

You got to be close to the finish.

I got a couple of --what I think are good-- paragraphs done, then got laid up for a week. Hopefully back at it tomorrow.

My dad died a week before Christmas.  He was 75 and had pulmonary fibrosis.  He was diagnosed in April, and went fairly quickly, which was actually a blessing.

I've been doing school safety assessments all over, but I'm in a bit of a lull.  Working on a college textbook on extreme violence with Mike Dorn, working to update my Relative Risk study, and generally enjoying my time with my two grandsons (Second was born last fall) and trying not to irritate the missus. (unsuccessfully!)

And trying to help out my mom whenever I can, now that she's alone.

Yes they did. We can see better than we have for years. Thank you for asking. How are things going with you? You must be busy.
